Australia is divided into six states and two territories. Primary schools often offer soccer programs at an early age. Secondary schools provide Talented Sports Programs in conjunction with clubs and private academies. Based on their performance, students may progress to the National Youth Team or National Premier League clubs. This pathway leads to opportunities in the Olympics, the national team, or the top-tier A-League.
